Our Story
Nestled in the tranquil village of Kampor on the island of Rab, Planka has been welcoming guests from across Europe for over six decades. What began as a small, family-run campsite has grown into a cherished destination — a place where the warmth of Croatian hospitality and the raw beauty of the Kvarner Bay converge.
The island of Rab is among Croatia's most beloved — with as many as 30 golden beaches, one of the last remaining Mediterranean holm oak forests in Europe, and a medieval old town recognised for millennia of culture. CNN has listed the nearby Paradise Beach in Lopar among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.
At Planka, you are steps from the sea, surrounded by pine shade, and cared for by people who know this coast like the back of their hand. We offer auto camp pitches, private apartments, bedrooms, and a restaurant celebrating the finest flavours of the Adriatic.
